War on Waste
Clearing a property doesn't have to mean filling a landfill. Wherever we can, we reuse, recycle and donate — turning your unwanted items into good causes across the BCP area.
Every year, mountains of perfectly usable furniture and household goods are thrown into landfill simply because someone needed a property cleared in a hurry. We think that's a waste — of resources, of money and of opportunity. So we do things differently.
When our team clears your home, garden, garage or office, we don't just drive everything to the tip. We sort as we go, separating what can be reused, what can be recycled and what genuinely has to be disposed of. Usable items are offered to local charities and good causes right here in the BCP area, so a sofa you no longer need can furnish a family home, and books and bric-a-brac can raise money for vital services.
On every job we separate reusable goods from genuine waste before anything leaves your property. Nothing usable is binned out of laziness.
Good-quality furniture, clothing, books and household items are passed to charity shops and reuse schemes across Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole.
Metals, timber, green waste and recyclables are taken to the right facilities and processed properly — keeping as much as possible out of the ground.
Only what truly can't be saved goes to licensed disposal, fully documented under our Environment Agency waste carriers licence.
We're proud to channel reusable items towards charities working across our community, including:
Donations depend on item condition and what each charity can accept at the time. Logos are not shown to avoid implying any formal partnership or endorsement.
